Building for my future
Transitioning from nursing to occupational safety is an exciting step for me. My experience as a combat medic in Iraq not only honed my medical skills but also taught me resilience and adaptability in high-pressure situations. While 15 years in nursing has been a rewarding career, I am eager to explore new challenges and opportunities. I look forward to using my unique experiences to create meaningful connections and drive success in this new path.
Why explore a new career?
Nursing can be a rewarding, but it comes with several drawbacks. Working holidays and weekends often means sacrificing time with family, which can lead to feelings of isolation and stress. The physical toll of long shifts and demanding workloads can also contribute to burnout and health issues. Transitioning to the business field offers the potential for a more structured schedule, opportunities for career advancement, and the chance to utilize leadership skills while maintaining a better work-life balance. I believe that no matter what path I take, I will succeed and advance.
